The story behind Zhena's Gypsy Teas is fascinating. Zhena, of Zhena's Tea fame, was an accredited aromatherapist with a bustling practice until tragedy struck. Her newborn son, Sage, was sick and Zhena had no choice other than to abandon her career, embrace her Ukrainian Gypsy heritage, and peddle organic teas. Today, Zhena's tea is hand-crafted by tea artisans. The qualifications of a tea artisan are highly suspect. We warn you that the difference between a hand-crafted tea from a tea artisan and a regular tea crafted by a tea factory worker may be indistinguishable.
While Zhena's Gypsy Black Tea and Zhena's Gypsy Green Tea are certainly popular teas, Zhena really specializes in herbal concoctions such as Zhena's Gypsy Acai Berry Tea, and Zhena's Gypsy Chai Teas. Give Zhena's tea a shot if you're interested in drinking some truly unique blends. Be prepared to shell out some dough, though. At least it comes in a beautifully crafted tin can which you can keep as a memorando.
