Harney & Sons Tea Reviews

Harney and Sons Tea is world renowned for their quality and is considered by many to be a premium, classic tea company that is surrounded by an aura of timelessness.  But Harney and Sons tea company brand of tea started in 1983, making it only 26 years old.  It took this sleuth almost 20 seconds to find the About Us page on the Harney website to uncover this terrible truth.  Good try, Harney and Sons, but nothing escapes the eyes of an Amigo. has a dirty little secret.  What they don't want you to know is that this

In many ways, Harney and Sons Teas revolutionized the way we drink tea today.  In 1983, few types of tea were available for consumption in the West, and few people drank this heavenly nectar anyway. John Harney, at the age of 53, armed with nothing but his boyish good looks, his passion for tea, and a team of dedicated sons, started the company which has grown to its modern proportions.  His sons still slave away to expand the Harney and Sons empire while John Harney leisurely sips his own Earl Grey tea and travels the world.  Some of the most popular Harney and Sons Teas are Harney and Sons Bangkok Tea, Harney and Sons Chinese Flower, Harney and Sons Christmas Tea, and Harney and Sons Cinnamon Tea.

Harney and Sons Darjeeling Tea

Mike: Harney and Sons Darjeeling Highlands is one of the finest, tastiest, freshest black teas that has ever made its presence known on my tongue. A brew so rich in flavor and complexity deserves instant placement in our best tea hall of fame. Harney and Sons Organic Earl Grey

Dax: Harney and Sons Organic Earl Grey has the perfect balance and symmetry necessary for a bomb earl grey tea. Usually I end up struggling to find that stability between bergamot and canvas, but man this is no joke. Such a smooth taste from...(Read more)

Harney and Sons Decaf Ceylon Tea

Mike: Harney & Sons Decaffeinated Ceylon Tea is not bad, especially for a decaf tea but it does not stand out in any particular fashion. While decaffeinated teas, even from Harney & Sons, tend to possess a certain dillutability not present in regular teas. This Harney and Sons tea also has it, but to a lesser extent than other decaf teas. There is no outstanding flavor, just a standard...(Read more)

Harney and Sons Egyptian Chamomile Tea

Mike: If you're looking for a quality chamomile tea, we found one for you. Check out Harney and Sons Egyptian Chamomile if you're a chamomile tea fanatic. The flavor is intense and if you drink enough of it, you might awaken the pharoahs out of their sarcophuguses. However, if you're someone like me who does not like pure chamomile tea even from a brand as elite as Harney and Sons tea, then necromancing will be few...(Read more)

Harney and Sons Red Raspberry Tea

Mike: Harney and Sons Raspberry Herbal Tea came as a surprise to me because I always think of Harney and Sons as one of the standard bearers of tea. For this tea brand to take on herbal tea is like Beethoven scratching on turntables. But, you know what? A virtuoso is a virtuoso, and if turntables existed back in 19th century...(Read more)

Harney and Sons Cinnamon Spice Tea

Mike: Harney and Sons Hot Cinnamon Spice tea is the ultimate sweet herbal tea for the young, international jetsetter whose seductive character just swooped a lovely Dutch maiden in Rio.
