Taylors of Harrogate Lemon & Orange Tea – Can They Make It Happen?
Mike
: This is the third Taylors of Harrogate tea review. Here at TeaAmigos, we have a rule that once a tea brand has accumulated three tea reviews, we create a page for it. Taylors of Harrogate, it’s your turn to face TeaAmigo’s wrath. Taylors of Harrogate Lemon and Orange tea is a tea I imagine a nun at a Catholic School would enjoy. Not your friendly Sister Act type nun, I’m talking like Meryll Streep in Doubt kind of nun, the kind that dispenses hot ruler-on-wrist action to misbehaving students. This fruit tea just has something stern about it; maybe it is the slightly bitter aftertaste or the way in which the citrus interacts with the black tea base but there’s just something spartan about it. The quality of the leaves and flavors themselves is extraordinary. Try this tea and see if you agree with my tea review.Rating: A-

: Well TeaAmigos, you can guess where this one is going. Taylors of Harrogate tea makes their best attempt at a Lemon and Orange tea, and I was not pleased. To wow my taste buds with their lemon teawould have required the strength of two teabags. Taylors of Harrogate Lemon and Orange Tea tastes like a high quality black tea with a bitter lemon finish. Orange only hangs around to be in the aroma scene. I pass on this guy.Rating: C
