Trescerro Rooibos Chai Tea - Haystack Hunting Made Simple

Dax: Trescerro Rooibos Chai almost makes up for the fact that they appear to not own a web domain.  Passing those elegant, elite tea brands that paid GoDaddy the dues needed to get some web space, Trescerro tea did some research, got in there and made some good policies, and came out with an uncorrupted triumphant landslide of flavor.  I tasted some mighty fine rooibos tea in the mix, which by others is usually Aldi brand rooibos.  Not Trescerro, they saved up and picked some goodness.  The base tea was not as fine as one would like, but I would not expect that from them.  They already hit me with this curveball of rooibos chai.  No milk or cream added, as this was taken to the dome with authority.

Mike: The true teasan has to be wary of rooibos tea from an unfamiliar brand like Trescerro tea. Rooibos tea is often done improperly using low grade herb with bogus flavor. Luckily, our homies at Trescerro stepped their tea game up yet again by producing this concoction: Trescerro Rooibos Chai Herbal tea. If you're a fan of the rooibos, get your greedy paws on this brew and see if you like it because I did. Standard sweet rooibos taste with a lower chai focus than most. This is the 2nd chai rooibos tea, the other being Trader Joe's Rooibos Chai. I don't know which I like more because the other had more of a chai strut. Either way, Trescerro is proving to be a breeding ground for decent teas.

Trescerro English Breakfast Tea - Not Worth the Shakedown

Trescerro English BreakfastDax: Trescerro English Breakfast had a bit of darkness to it.  I don't know if they've been hanging around one too many necromancers and converted to mage bashing.  One or the other, this breakfast tea felt like it had a hint of molasses to it.  The mesquite was there, but it really had this extra component of syrup infused in the leaves.  Trescerro tea always raises a certain amount of questions, none of which their website (or lack thereof) can answer.  My question is, when did tea get thick?  Do not be too afraid of Trescerro English Breakfast, its just got some weather on it.

Mike: There's two types of teasans out there trying to stake their claim to fame by getting their name out on the teasan hall of fame. True teasans and tricksters. You see, Dax and I are true teasans through and through so we give new brands like Trescerro tea a chance. The tricksters out there wouldn't give this Trescerro English Breakfast tea the light of day. They're too busy steeping only elite brands (which we do not hate on by any means) being all snobby and forgetting what the tea hustle is all about.
So let's talk about Trescerro English Breakfast tea, shall we. It's not a winner but I'm glad I gave it a shot unlike those trickster teasan posers. Trescerro English Breakfast has your standard Assam tea taste. No hickory smoked mesquitability to report, just a very plain, standard, English Breakfast tea. Not bad but sub-daily drinker status. Cop some for yourself and let me know if you agree.

Trescerro Peppermint Herbal Tea - Dentist Office Exciting

Trescerro Peppermint TeaMike: Trescerro Peppermint Herbal Tea is unremarkable, as most mint tea is. The problem with rating these is that there is only one ingredient: peppermint. I'm sure there are varying degrees in he quality of peppermint teas but I know not of them. In our last Trescerro tea review, I made it clear that I would not judge the brand prematurely. Since this is an herbal tea, I will still abstain from judging. This mint tea is at least decent.

Rating: B

Dax: Trescerro tea must have gotten some tutoring from Kaplan because this peppermint herb tea did not fail.  Trescerro peppermint herb tea wasn't on top either.  With a mild smelling teabag, I got to steeping hoping that they redeem themselves after their attempt at China green tea.  This one wasn't nearly as deadly. This fresh mint tea has a smooth flight, yet a lackluster mint flavor that isn't captivating. Maybe next time Trescerro.

Trescerro China Green Tea - Freshness Denied

Trescerro Green TeaMike: Trescerro China Green Tea is one of the most pathetic excuses for green tea I have ever tasted.  Trescerro tea is a new brand of tea that we got going on. Didn't Trescerro's mom ever teach them that first impressions are important. Well, Laura Kofman is a saint, and she taught me. But, she also taught me another lesson: don't judge a book by its cover. Therefore, I will not abandon future attempts at Trescerro tea. This tea is stale as hale and the freshness factor has a coefficient of .0001. Freshness denied. There's an aftertaste which causes your taste buds to wince in pain. This Trescerro Green tea is little league.

Rating: D-

Dax: Well, I don't what had happened here, but Trescerro china green tea is bogus.  I thought I oversteeped or something, but you can't really do green tea like that.  What started as an okay tea, turned into an abomination of a beverage. My oh my will somebody help Trescerro out with their blends!  Maybe the next tea review will hold a different story.  Ugh... Listerine time.
