Octavia Ginger Peach White Tea - The Return of the Mack

Octavia Ginger Peach TeaDax: Octavia ginger peach white tea was such a blessing. Octavia tea is clearly a winner in the loose tea genre, and they've proven their prowess with ginger tea as well. Ginger tea sometimes tastes ways too Traditionals Medicinals for me, like my grandma made it to cure cancer or something. This ginger white tea had the perfect blend of ginger and peach. The best part was this sweet aftertaste that is lke the gatorade at the end of a 400K marathon. Definitely a best tea nominee fo shizzle.

Rating: A+

Mike: Octavia Ginger Peach White Tea has the flavor pop necessary to proudly strut with or without music in the background, and I'm not talking about Dax's tea beats here. I'm talking about some 70's groove track, like Goldie from The Mack. When this Octavia tea opens the door to his chambers the other teas look down. A sweet white tea slaps your taste buds across the face if they talk out of turn and a nice ginger spiciness then comforts them. Cry on the ginger's shoulder. It'll be you father, lover, advisor, protector, and boss. This ginger tea has them tastebuds on lockdown.

Hyson Midsummer Peach Tea - On Target Like GPS

Hyson Midsummer Peach TeaDax: I think Montell Jordan said it best.  And i quote, "This is how we do it."  It's not even Friday night and I feel alright thanks to Hyson Midsummer Peach.  The dead of Winter can't even stop this flavored tea's shine.  Hyson has black tea down to a science, and produced a quality blend for your taste buds and mine.  This steep is dark, rich, potent, smells proper, tastes proper, and has that signature Hyson tea funk that will make the teasan in you do back handsprings down the aisle of the grocery store.  In these staggering and unstable economic times *cough*, take the three bucks and cop some real flavored tea.

Rating: A-

Mike: Flavored tea, especially fruit tea, is rarely done well.  It is difficult to strike the all important balance between fruit and tea content.  With Hyson Midsummer Peach Tea that balance has been struck and what has resulted is a superb flavored tea.  Though Hyson flavored teas are hit or miss, it seems that the success rate of Hyson tea in the fruit tea department is more consistent.  With this Hyson Peach tea, you experience a quality black tea brew and the taste and smell of fresh peaces circa late June when they are ripening but not quite there.  Delicious.

Pickwick Purely Peach Tea - Its So-So For Real Though

Pickwick Peach TeaMike: Pickwick Purely Peach Black Tea is decent, just making it above the daily drinker threshhold (B or higher). This peach tea from Pickwick Tea is stellar on the peach but the tea aspect suffers. As I have noticed with other Pickwick teas, the flavor is strong with this young jedi, but the black tea itself is void of freshness and originality. Anger leads to the dark side.

Rating: B

Dax: Remember Attack of the Killer Tomatoes?  We'll this is the Brigade of Ferocious Peaches.  Pickwick Purely Peach tea gives you the Mayweather left hook to the nostrils with peach essence.  Pickwick tea is your local corner store brand that likes to dish surprises to the Amigos, and let's get down with their flavored black tea get-down.  As you know, Hyson is one of the heralded leaders of the flavored tea regime, and a brand like Pickwick has quite the number of hurdles to clear to attain such status with us.  I'm not feeling the black tea base as much as that from Hyson Tea, and also once you settle in, the peach flavored tea isn't quite as impressive neither.  Not a bad brew, I'd almost like to call it average.  Man, that smell really had me going, but don't judge a tea by the smell.  It's not Gladé, it Glade.
