LeafSpa Blink Bonnie Green Tea - When In Doubt, Buy a Gift Card

LeafSpa Bonnie Blink Green TeaDax: A LeafSpa tea review that just did not sit well with me; Blink Bonnie green tea is not steep worthy. I was first confused by the smell of this organic green tea from LeafSpa, as I could not put a finger on what it triggered in my brain. Bacon grease? Cod liver oil? Whatever it was; I didn't like it. The leaves are visually appealing though. They look like little hobbit canes and wizard sticks. As for the taste, it was very rich and had a maple tinge to it, another facet for my disapproval. LeafSpa Blink Bonnie just did not float my boat.

Rating: C-

Mike: Out of the frying pan and into the fire, out of control and into the wild, out of sync but in focus, Leafspa Blink Bonnie Organic Green tea is the spot-hitter-come-behind-taste-sensation you won't want to miss. Taste so smooth you'll jive and groove. My terrible attempt at honoring George Carlin may have fallen through but this organic green tea from Leafspa stands tall. One of the better non-sencha type green teas I have tried, Leafspa green tea has a certain thirst-quenching hitthespotability that other, even sometimes superior quality green teas don't. Perhaps it is the quintessential steepability I am referring to. Regardless, this one is a winner.

Republic of Tea Big Green Hojicha - Got These Teasans Smiling

Republic of Tea HojichaMike: Hojicha tea is normally not my favorite type of tea but Republic of Tea Hojicha is an elbow from the sky. This loose hojicha tea dares to pose the question, "why haven't the Tea Amigos done a tea review about me?" to which we answer that we are not worthy...until now. Big Green Hojicha from Republic of Tea resembles neither green tea nor black tea nor oolong tea. It's in a category of its own because the extra roastation gives this hojicha an almost spicy-sweet taste which is hard to find naturally in tea. Truly inspirational.

Rating: A

Dax: Being the teasan that I am, I knew that opening this Republic of Tea hojicha blend was going to bring in some fire-roasted goodness. Now we aren't talking about the Colonel's secret recipe type roast, but that of some hojicha green tea. For those that are noobs to the hojicha tea game, it is a type of green tea that is cooked to resemble the woodchips on your playground back in 3rd grade. The taste is similar, yet Republic of Tea hojicha got it goin on. The roasted leaves gave off the perfect amount of roasted flavor, whereas many other hojicha teas linger in the burnt category way too long. Now I see why Republic of Tea reviews have been requested so much, they got that goody good.

Wiseman Sencha Kombucha Tea - Check the Crystals...

Wiseman Sencha Kombucha Plum TeaMike: Wiseman Sencha Kombucha tea, available shortly at the Tea Amigos online tea store, is fire as hell. First, let me lay some teasan knowledge on you. Sencha is a traditional Japanese green tea. It is unground (as opposed to machta which is). Know what Kombucha tea is? Kombucha tea is a bacterial culture with many purported health benefits. Given that scientific research on Kombucha is limited, I can tell you about my personal experience. It nukes colds. I started drinking Kombucha tea in October when I had a cold. It went away the following day and I haven't gotten one since.
Wiseman Sencha Kombucha Plum tea is a steep to be reckoned with for the tastebuds as well. It's tastes like a light green tea, rainbows, and unicorns. Floral and sweet, this Wiseman Sencha tea will get your blood pumpin' and mouth watering.

Rating: A

Dax: If you think you are a wise guy, you had better step your knowledge up and grab Wiseman Tea. I had never heard of this brand, but this won't be the last time you hear about it on Tea Amigos. My entrance into their botanical bliss was this Sencha Kombucha Plum Green Tea. Fresh is the first word that comes into my had, as this lightly textured Sencha tea pleased the palate beyond belief. The plum flavoring can be felt as the lavish kombucha tea settles in, just dandy. Not only do you get the Kombucha tea fighting fevers and flus like the guy from 300, the fruity finish gives you exactly what you need. This is the hotness, and this teasan cannot wait to get down on some more Wiseman Tea.

Lipton Superfruit Mangosteen and Peach Green Tea - Super OK

Lipton Superfruit Mangosteen TeaMike: Here's something you don't hear everyday, "Mmmm, this is a really good fruit salad but it needs a little mangosteen." I was at the grocery store when I passed by Lipton Green Tea Superfruit with Mangosteen and Peach and I instantly knew that I was hook, line, and sinker for this. Who could resist a fruit that sounds like a mango with a yarmulke on top? The answer is no one because Lipton Green Tea Superfruit is a dynamo of mangosteen flavor. The green tea base is a little weak but it is made up for by this mysterious fruit which you can wikipedia like I did. Nothing really of note, just delicious and an ideal daily drinker.

Rating: A-

Dax: Lipton is a tea brand that many people flock to, and others steer clear of. Gifted brought us some Lipton Superfruit tea with hopes that the rep of regularability could be fixed. I have to say that this mangosteen and peach tea was pretty good. It is crisp and light like white tea, yet has a subtle fruit flavor that tiptoes around on your tongue. It isn't as potent or identifiable as it could be, but what the fudge is a white mangosteen anyways. This is almost a daily drinker, but isn't to me. Next time Lipton.

Metro Tea Japan Sencha - Sencha Some Good Green Tea

Metro Tea Japan Sencha GreenDax: Metropolitan Tea Company hothed us with a big ol' box of their blends, needless to say that we appreciate the teasan love. First things first; take on the basics. Metro Tea Company Japan Sencha green tea hits you with a great entry fkavor right when it hits the tongue, sweet and a touch of grassiness on the low end. It is overall a very smooth Sencha tea with a mild aftertaste letting you know that this is the real deal. Daily Drinker status was decinitely acheived, yet no napalm went off in my brain. Still poppin and a good way to start off the tea brand.

Rating: B+

Mike: And put another one up for the Metropolitan Tea Company on the big board! Yes, that's right. Metropolitan Tea Japan Sencha is our second Metropolitan Tea Review. Let's get right to it. You know, over my years as a teasan, I have come across many senchas and moreso I'll tell you this, I know how they're supposed to taste. So, Metropolitan Japan Sencha tea ain't fooling this teasan. This is merely an attempt at sencha but it's not nearly grassy enough. Nevertheless, this Metropolitan green tea makes for a solid green tea steep with a certain degree of sweetness reminiscent of corn syrup. Pleasant on the way down and a good thirst quencher. The tea tastes right but it does not taste like sencha. I'll still show it love.

Yamamotoyama Green Tea - Flavor Determination

YamamotoyamaDax: With a name lke Yamamotoyama, you know you are in for some serious flavor. Yamamotoyama green tea delivers said flavor like UPS. This green tea review is as grassy as they come, so don't you dare oversteep. A homey of mine from China put me onto the tea brand, and a cosign such as that reflects the quality in the brew. I personally think that it tastes average, with a tad bit of sweetness, extra grass. I'm looking forward to having more Yamamotoyama, I smell potential... or maybe grass.

Rating: B+

Mike: Domo Arigato Mr. Yamammotoyama! Yamamotoyama Green Tea comes straight out of the land of the risinig sun, hitting you hard with that sencha leafiness. Look no further than the first tastebud on your tongue to feel the grassiness within. Yamamotoyama tea definitely has a lot going for it: a subtle sweetness and a gentle smoothness but it also has it's downfall, a distinct bitterness. Unfortunately, this green tea from Yamamotoyama leaves a certain bitterness at the sides of you tongue which keep this away from the A range and in the daily drinker category. If you need a relaxing daily drinker, this is a very solid choice.

Yogi Green Tea Energy - Level Up, With A Price...

Yogi Green Tea EnergyMike: Yogi Green Tea Energy is a complex tea with a lot of simultaneous processes. As the gears turn, the belts spin, hampsters run, axles rotate, bells ring and steam whistles blow in this incredible machine, I feel the need to take this Yogi steep one taste at a time. The most prominent taste in this green tea is that of detox teas. I don't know precisely what ingredients they share but it's definitely got that detox tea funk. Ginseng and ginger flavoring is next and it ain't that pretty of a mix here. Lemongrass? Why not. Overall, they built a complex machine full of processes but no function.

Rating: B-

Dax: Yogi Tea once again bewilders me with some goofy green teaYogi Green Tea Energy or Stamina or some other RPG stat is a funky tasting detox-looking viagra-defying over-rotated beast of a tea.  There is not only a jambalaya of ingredients and flavors to supposedly boost your ego, strength, and vigor, it is a paella preposterous poop.  Okay I went a little too far there, but seriously there is no need for such madness.  It's like lighting fireworks in a port-o-potty, way too much craziness in a small package.

Twining's Jasmine Green Tea - Ain't Nothing But A Sweet Thang Baaaby

Twining's Jasmine Green TeaMike: Twinings Green Tea Jasmine coming straight at you from the beautiful Dominican Republic, and I don't know if Twinings make their jasmine tea any different for this market but this one has a very Yerba Mate touch to it. I don't know if this is purely psychological but Twinings Jasmine Green tea is much sweeter than other jasmine teas. Now, you've been a Tea Amigos fan for a while so you know me and sweet teas are like two magnets with the positive sides facing each other: maximum repulsion. But this Twinings Green tea Jasmine is spectacular. It's as if they squeezed sweet jasmine nectar into it. Mad props Twinings.

Rating: A

Dax: While in the Domincan Republic, I had the pleasure of coming across Twining's Jasmine Green Tea. It has been a minute since our last Twinings tea review, so let me prepare my palate for freshness. Twining's of London usually has their game tight and ready for action, packing potency power in every sip. I didn't sense too much jasmine tea in here, but just like the Twinings green tea, their green tea with jasmine is super grassy. It reminds me of when I learned how to do backflips off of swings as a child. That first try left me with a mouthful of turf. Twinings Jasmine green tea is right up there, light on jasmine heavy on the greenery.

Tadin Mango Green Tea - Iced Tea or Not At All

Tadin Mango Green TeaDax: Tadin Mango Green tea was a shock to my eyes when I first saw it.  With a very different package design in comparison to the other Tadin teas, the Green tea with Mango was a "unique" addition to the TeaAmigos lineup.  As the Gifted Teasan Mike explained in a past tea review, Tadin teas are definitely hit or miss, and this guy was no different.  First off, there seems to be more sugar in this brew than a McDonald's Sweet Tea (we won't dare review that mess, don't hold your breath).  Either they spilled some pure azúcar in the mix, or this was just destined to be an iced tea.  For those that play around with sweeteners in their tea, Tadin Green Tea with Mango will be gladly accepted like Visa or Mastercard.  It didn't particularly float my boat.

Rating: C

Mike: A "wiseman" once said, "Fool me once...shame on...shame on you.  Fool me you can't get fooled again."  This wiseman was President George W. Bush.  The same president that would drink Tadin Mango Green Tea. I never really expected much from Tadin tea.  They've shown their true colors before so why do we keep buying them to try new terrible teas.  I'll tell you why.  Because we're freakin' teasans, and no tea review is below us.  If it steeps in hot water, we'll review it.

This mango tea by Tadin is definitely a nominee for our non-existent worst tea page.  If we had one this would win the grand prize.  Artificial sweetner, fake mango taste, low quality tea bag, all sorts of other hostiles abound.  Don't you dare even try this sweet mess.

Organic and Pure Green Tea with Lemon - Oh Brother...

Organic and Pure Green Tea with LemonDax: The TeaAmigos will never fake the funk, and this is a prime illustration of the real-talk tea reviews that we provide. Now Organic and Pure is a brand that you will soon be able to cop from our upcoming store, but I personally do not recommend the Organic and Pure Green Tea with Lemon. I don't know if someone spilled rooibos tea in the mix, but red tea flavor oozes from the steep. Where is the green tea with lemon? Who knows. Now, devoted Organic & Pure fans may rejoice at this green tea with lemon, and by all means snag some up. For those that don't know, now you know.. Weird.

Rating: C-

Mike: Organic and Pure tea is a tea brand that went out of business some time ago. You cannot find their tea anywhere but we have a secret cache of Organic & Pure and we've been dipping into our stores to get these tea reviews completed. Anyway, I got this theory that in the closing days of the company, everyone was scrambling around trying to figure out what to do. It must have been chaos. Watch the movie Downfall and you'll see what I mean. I bet in all of the confusion that ensued, they mistakenly put this tea in the packaging instead of the actual lemon green tea.
I'm kidding, of course. The placement was intentional but this tea really does not taste like green tea, nor lemon, nor even good. It's just some sweet mess. Look, I'm not hating on Organic and Pure. They got other blends ranging from best tea contenders to quality daily drinkers. However, this Organic and Pure green tea is bogus as hell and comes at you with too much sweetness and lacklusterability. Steep what you will but don't say I didn't warn you.

Organic and Pure Green Tea - The Labor of Love

Organic and Pure Green TeaDax: By popular demand the TeaAmigos must take their esteemed teasanship to the like of Organic and Pure tea. This is one of those brands that will have you hooked, then disappear from the face of the earth. Organic and Pure green tea is a good example of an underground daily drinker. It's got that crispiness the I love plus the sencha taste that makes the green in you jump for joy. I know you are having a hard time finding this again, and the TeaAmigos are at your rescue. Coming extremely soon we will be able to suffice your Organic & Pure tea addiction. Must I say stay tuned?

Rating: A

Mike: We get requests on a daily basis asking us where people can buy Organic and Pure tea. The answer is no where...yet. We got a surprise coming your way but for now the brand is dead and there's nowhere to get it.
Why the company went out of business is a mystery to me because their teas, including Organic and Pure Green tea, are fire. Like other Organic & Pure teas, this green tea has the flavor pop I've come to know and love. Grassy and sassy, Organic & Pure Green tea must have been their labor of love, a lifelong ambition if you will. It's missing some of the Asianness of the real primo green teas but other than that you got yourself a hella good daily drinker.

Sierra Brand Green Tea - Keep It On The Regular

Sierra Brand Green TeaDax: Well, Sierra Brand seems to just keep it mellow.  Nothing fancy, nothing too daring, nothing special.  I can imagine this Sierra Brand Green Tea was made on a Tuesday, probably about 65 degrees out, partly cloudy, no chance of rain.  Average is as average does for this green tea.  Drink this only if you are feeling blah, and don't want to do anything about it.

Rating: C

Mike: Sierra Brand Green Tea is a pretty standard green tea which does not exhibit any particularly fruitful stats. Did you ever see the episode of Futurama where Fry & Company visit the neutral planet? If you haven't, watch it immediately so you can understand this Sierra Brand tea. If you have, then you know exactly what I'm talking about when I say that this is the tea they would drink on the Neutral Planet. Not flavorful, not bad, bland. Not exciting but not disgusting. Just a run of the mill Sierra Green Tea that receives a run of the mill grade.

Tazo Joy Tea - Looking Good On Paper

Tazo Joy TeaDax: It seems like Tazo tea reviews are becoming second nature for the TeaAmigos, as their color-coded packaging is frequently gracing my inbox.  Today's steep is the Tazo Joy, a seasonal blend that mixes black tea, green tea, and oolong tea into one little teabag.  I say bring it on.  The smell is very bold and refreshing, begging you to get your steep on.  Color is dark, similar to a breakfast tea.  Now for the conundrum, which leaf brings out the most flavor?  The standout performance and Oscar goes to oolong tea.  I really liked this blend due to the fact that the oolongability is high, and the black tea plays a great supporting role.  Let me say that sometimes black tea tries too hard to be in the foreground, but it is forgiveable. Look for this one next Christmas time, or on a clearance aisle at Target (pronounced Tar-jay).

Rating: A-

Mike: Tazo Joy is a blend of black tea, oolong tea, and green tea meaning it covers the full spectrum of teas except for white tea. The packaging also says that these are fine, "celebratory" pickings. Let me tell you an analagous story all about this Tazo Joy.
I was in a celebratory mood out in Chitown at a club when I ran into a pretty little thing. Females love a teasan's game, especially when I whipped out my Tea Amigos Gifted Teasan business card. The game was over and I swooped her. I found out the reason she was so fine was because she was 1/4 black, 1/4 Puerto Rican, 1/4 Japanese, and 1/4 Jewish. Children with mixed ethnicities tend to do well in the looks department. Anyway, I'm not going to go into too much detail but let's just say what looks good might not always end up being as good as you imagined.
Same with this Tazo Tea. Though Tazo joy looks great on paper, performance is merely average. The black tea taste is too strong and leaves the other teas in the dust. Still not bad, just not as good as it looks. Solid daily drinker quality.

LeafSpa Eagle Nest Ever Drop Green Tea - Eagle What?

LeafSpa Eagle NestDax: LeafSpa what's good! A shout out to them for sending samples to the teasans at TeaAmigos! Mike and I steeped their Eagle Nest Ever Drop green tea today, and it was a treat for the senses. Steeping darker than usual, I didn't know what to expect from this LeafSpa tea. The smell and opening taste of this gift from the eagle's nest carries a certain mesquiteability that a fine breakfast tea would hold. Also, a faint fruity flavor reveals itself like a wardrobe malfunction, livening up the aftertaste. I can tell LeafSpa cares about their ingredients, this is a USDA organic and fair trade certified tea. LeafSpa looks out for the little guys, and looks out for you with this poppin tea. Don't try and play the name game with it.

Rating: A

Mike: Teasans beware, this green tea from Leafspa masquerades itself as a black tea by taste and even appearence. It's got the mesquitability necessary to fool tried and true teasans in a double blind tea identification. Some might even mistake it for a breakfast tea because of it's Assam-like taste.  It's minimal grassiness will also have you believe this is a black tea.
Despite this imposter's best attempts, we got him cornered. The taste described above is superb and Leafspa Eagle Nest Ever Drop Green Tea is one of the most unique green teas I have tried which is why you should try it to. Fresh is true.

Pickwick Green Tea with Lemon - Tastes Healthy, but Average

Pickwick Green Tea with LemonDax: Pickwick Green Tea with Lemon reminds me of my wife's cooking; when you drink it, it makes you feel good.  It just has that healthy taste to it.  The green tea flavor collides with some lightly zesty lemon and you get a Pickwick tea that casts a shadow on others from the brand.  The opposite experience is like eating Burger King and trying to go skate, it's the Ginsu guarantee that you will feel like a mess.  The green tea is light and crisp (maybe cause its a bit cheaper) and the lemon doesn't overtwang your tongue.  I didn't think this was gonna be a daily drinker, but Pickwick tea said "I told you so".

Rating: B+

Mike: Pickwick Green Tea with Lemon is a pretty average brew-ha-ha with pretty average grades in steepability, tasteability, and freshnessability. Lemon tea is a tough tea to pull off the right way and in my humble opinion, Pickwick has neither the teasanship, the experience, nor the steep-mastery required to blow the minds of said tea genre lovers. It's not bad but the lemonability tastes a little artificial and the base tea, as is always the case with Pickwick, lacks the freshness necessary to summit the Everest of Teasanship. Try your luck with a different lemon tea, son.

Lagg's Verde Green Tea - Thanks But No Thanks

Laggs Green TeaMike: Dax came back from Mexico all luche libre carrying this Lagg's tea back from his resort. Lagg's green tea sucks. I don't even know what else to say, the taste doesn't even resemble green tea. It tastes like chlorine and I know the problem is not with the water because I use the same water for all my teasan trials. Dax's mind was in the right place, always thinking about the tea hustle. What he brought back, though, was trash. Thanks, but no thanks.

Rating: F (undrinkable)

Dax: So Mike hated on the Lagg's Green tea with the quickness, but I was not so hasty.  It is parallel to an experience in the location where I got this Lagg's tea, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.  See, you aren't supposed to drink the water in Mexico, for obvious reasons, and I'm not saying I did.  I was quite enthused about getting thrown around by powerful waves...until the next day when I was puking up my buffet breakfast.  Gross.  The story with Lagg's Green tea is that at first it seemed like a daily drinker, until the fertilizer finish sets in and you feel worried for you life... I won't fail this green tea, but I'm really disappointed...and sick.

Allegro Himalayan Green Tea - Part of Your Whole Check

Allegro Himalayan Green TeaDax: Now don't get me wrong people, I am a fan of green tea, but sometimes the tea just isn't my cup of said beverage. Allegro Himalayan Green tea just didn't sit too well, even though they boast that their blend holds Chinese and rare Indian Green Darjeeling teas. I did a side by side comparison taste test with an authentic Chinese tea from China, you can only guess who won. So far Allegro fine tea has been pretty good with the steepability, but this certain tea missed the mark. I steeped it quite lightly, as green darjeeling tea can be bold. Nonetheless it had that oversteeped taste all the way through. Somebody fudged this one up.

Rating: C+

Mike: When Whole Foods enters the tea junket, beta teasans beware.  Whole Foods isn't here to appear weak and they come correct with the flavor generally.  Whole Foods does not control a large part of the tea turf yet but you know when they step into the game with their own brand, the likes of daily drinkers and lower quality creations best move aside or be rolled over.  Allegro Himalayan Green tea is my favorite of the bunch so far.

If you want a very authentic, real tasting green tea then Allegro Himalayan Green is your one stop shop for the green tea pop.  It's that grassy umph-factor (TM pending) that many expect from a solid green tea and a smooth finish worthy of the Whole Foods title.  My obsession with WF started just a few weeks ago when I was on vacation in Scottsdale, AZ.  I had a Whole Foods close by and ended up going there all the time.  Amazing beer, amazing tea.  Regardless, this Allegro Green tea is about as authentic as it can get.  It does not have that almost supernatural flavor quality of a Taylors of Harrogate or Mighty Leaf tea, but it's definitely got something (umph-factor).  This exceeds daily drinker by a long shot.

Tazo Green Ginger Tea - Reluctantly Relenquished

Tazo Green Ginger TeaMike: Tazo Green Ginger tea is an interesting blend of two types of tea that one might not expect to complement each other but they do. At its heart, this flavored green tea from Tazo tea is a champion in the making but it still lacks the necessary umph to wield the Hammer of Prolific Destiny+3. The taste is slightly duller than one would hope which leads me to believe that this ginger green tea was not the freshest of brews. Nevertheless, this one is definitely worth you time and effort as it exceeds daily drinker quality in my book. Listen up and learn from the gifted teasan.

Rating: A-

Dax: Tazo Green Ginger tea has more bark then bite.  After having a ginger tea from medicinal brands like Traditional Medicinals, one would worry about getting that burning feeling in your throat.  Ginger is one hell of an herb, one swallow down the wrong tube and you are on the ground having a seizure, if not dead.  Tazo tea tames that ginger beast by integrating a nicely brewed green tea in the mix.  The aroma is quite gingery, yet the color and taste resemble a green and white tea fusion.  This is an interesting blend to say the least, as the ginger tea flavor is only present in the front end taste, while the back end is filled with a smooth, delicate green tea.  If you are on an extra health kick and need to ween yourself into the world of ginger, try this brew.

Tazo Refresh Tea - Check Yo Steep Before You Wreck Yo Steep

Mike: True teasans know what's in their steep. It's what being a teasan is all about. This is why when I was confronted Tazo Refresh Mint tea, I was taken aback momentarily by the ingredients. This mint tea from Tazo has something called tarragon, a new ingredient in the teasan's arsenal. For the most part, Tazo's mint tea tastes much like most mint teas you will uncover in your travels. Toward the end, closer to the oversteep, I felt a new sensation sweeping my tongue's imagination. It's all about the tarragon baby. A strange, slightly bitter herbal taste, but have I savored this flavor prior to this Tazo tea steep. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks. It's the same taste when you drink detox tea in haste. Overall not bad, tastes kind of like a detox mint tea.

Rating: B

Dax: Seeing as this tea is called Tazo Refresh, and it is packaged in a green tea sachet, I steeped without any desire nor thought of reading the ingredients.  Tazo tea is generally flavorful and potent, with minimal side effects, so I wasn't thinking about drowsiness, nausea, migraines, suicidal thoughts, or chemical dependency.  Tazo Refresh green tea was looking good in my teacup, but I sensed a little something off with this green tea.  I found out that mint tea had made a guest appearance.  The situation as a whole was appreciated, but that first sip almost made me sick.  Not that this mint medley (no reference to Bigelow Mint Medley) was bad, I just wasn't expecting it at all.  I was in "steep shock".  Read prior to steep, yet enjoy.

Hyson Green Tea - Bubble Gum, Grape, or Peppermint Paste?

Hyson Green TeaMike: The Tea Amigos have been doing Hyson Tea Reviews from the getgo. As such, we have a hard time hating on Hyson Teas because of their support from the very beginning. Anyway, Hyson Green Tea is is a solid daily drinker green tea for the daily green tea lover. It wouldn't take me very long to recognize this tea at all, just a few ppm on my tongue and I would blurt out "thats Hyson green," with the quickness. How could I tell? 1. Hyson teas tend to have a sort of zestfully clean soapy tasty and texture to them, and this green tizzle is no different. Second, instead of the grassy taste of most green teas, this one is noticebly sweet. A little too sweet for my liking in fact but if you like sweet green teas then have at em hoss.

Rating: B+

Dax: When you venture away from the norm, it happens every so often that the fine balance you once hoped and dreamed for turns around and sprints as fast as possible. I figured that Hyson Green Tea was going to yield odd results, and it did. Hyson tea has already established themselves as a powerful flavored black tea producer. When they enter the triathlon and try to make quality earl grey tea or green tea, leg cramps at the starting gate. Hyson green tea tastes like it is for kids. Kind of like when you go to the dentist and they have those sweet flavors to pick from. This is just as unpleasureable. It is sweet like corn syrup. Period.  I didn't have a hard time hating. </bogusreview>
