This is one of those brands that will have you hooked, then disappear from the face of the earth. Organic and Pure green tea is a good example of an underground daily drinker. It's got that crispiness the I love plus the sencha taste that makes the green in you jump for joy. I know you are having a hard time finding this again, and the TeaAmigos are at your rescue.
Mike: We get requests on a daily basis asking us where people can buy Organic and Pure tea. The answer is no where...yet. We got a surprise coming your way but for now the brand is dead and there's nowhere to get it.
Why the company went out of business is a mystery to me because their teas, including Organic and Pure Green tea, are fire. Like other Organic & Pure teas, this green tea has the flavor pop I've come to know and love. Grassy and sassy, Organic & Pure Green tea must have been their labor of love, a lifelong ambition if you will. It's missing some of the Asianness of the real primo green teas but other than that you got yourself a hella good daily drinker.

Rating: A-

Octavia Harvest Orange Spice Tea - Orange Spice That's Nice

Mike: Octavia Harvest Orange Spice is one of the best orange spice teas that we've reviewed and in my opinion belongs on our best tea page like whoa. Last name Steepability, first name Max, Octavia Harvest Orange Spice tea is the whole leaf blend for the seasoned orange spice tea drinker and the casual dabbler alike. Never doubt it. Flavoroids come out fresh and proper not unlike our new column, Steeping Fresh and Proper with Jamar Eaton. The right collaboritive spirit between the orange, the spice, and even the black Octavia tea make this a contender to be hhhhwreckoned with.

Rating: A+

Dax: Octavia Tea keeps it fresh. Their loose tea can be found on our best tea page, and if I were you I would grab that. Octavia Harvest Orange Spice is another classic from the tea brand, giving me the orange spice that I don't necessarily agree with from time to time, compounded with a black tea base which holds it down like an anchor. Their choice of clementines for this orange spice tea is applauded, as well as the touch of cinnamon that closes out the organic tea sensation. If I could find a flaw, it is that the leaves are very dusty and will infiltrate your steeparatus. Daily drinker on the real.

Rating: A

Tazo Wild Sweet Orange Tea - More Color Than Crayola

Dax: Tazo Wild Sweet Orange takes its playfully colored tea satchet and gets silly with it. Never to be without a bold flavor, Tazo tea reviews usually come correct in my book...except when things start srifting into Kool-Aid territory. This Tazo herbal tea is herbal for sure, boasting power orangey zest without any real tea inside. My feelings were a bit touched when I got that licorice root aftertaste. Now it was nothing like Stash Licorice Spice, but I personally wasn't a fan.
Mike: Tazo Wild Orange tea has the glitz necessary to reach the pinnacle of said made up word. When you're doing a Tazo tea review, you got to look at all aspects of of a tea: color, smell, taste. The most descriptive voice to all 3 is sharp. The color is a vivid orange, just a bright almost unnaturally artificial orange. The smell is citrusy, cuts right into your nostrils. The taste is much the same. Tazo Wild Orange is a herbal tea base which means that the taste of the tea itself does not overshadow the flavor. You get an interesting citrus burst that is unlike any other orange flavored tea I have tried. I like it!

Rating: A-

California Tea House Red Robe Tea - Guess the Leaf, Win Some Bomb Tea

Mike: California Tea House Big Red Robe Oolong tea has the smoothability factor equivalent to that of a baby's bottom. Just try it and you'll see. This oolong tea has a certain silky property to it I haven't tasted in any other oolong or any other tea either. The oolonginess is not overly strong but still present and the smokiness factor is there as well as if the tea was a little more roasted than most oolongs. California Tea House was kind enough to send us some samples of their teas and we're kind enough to give them the tea reviews they deserve.
Dax: California Tea House, bring on more of this Red Robe Tea! Gifted and I were looking to take our teasan abilities to the pinnacle of Mount Achievement. California Tea House Big Red Robe is something of a mystery upon first site. No leaf categorization is identified on the label, but the palate let it be known that it is indeed an oolong tea; a great oolong tea at that. I was a fool to say that it was a black tea at first, but this was only due to its unique mesquiteability. Wifey fully supports Naivetea, and this lychee oolong tops her charts. For me, it was a blockbuster smash, kind of like when Avatar came out, it changed everything. Naivetea yuzu oolong tea is still my favorite of their offerings, but man this is fire. The oolong tea fresh out of the package smells like a lychee factory, and the taste is smooth, pure, and worth the imminent triple steep.
Mike: Tazo Joy is a blend of black tea, oolong tea, and green tea meaning it covers the full spectrum of teas except for white tea. The packaging also says that these are fine, "celebratory" pickings. Let me tell you an analagous story all about this Tazo Joy.
I was in a celebratory mood out in Chitown at a club when I ran into a pretty little thing. Females love a teasan's game, especially when I whipped out my Tea Amigos Gifted Teasan business card. The game was over and I swooped her. I found out the reason she was so fine was because she was 1/4 black, 1/4 Puerto Rican, 1/4 Japanese, and 1/4 Jewish. Children with mixed ethnicities tend to do well in the looks department. Anyway, I'm not going to go into too much detail but let's just say what looks good might not always end up being as good as you imagined.
Same with this Tazo Tea. Though Tazo joy looks great on paper, performance is merely average. The black tea taste is too strong and leaves the other teas in the dust. Still not bad, just not as good as it looks.
