Revolution Tropical Green Tea – The Opening Act
Mike
: Revolution Tropical Green Tea was a bit of a disappointment to be honest especially when compared to the first Revolution Tea we tried which their Orange Chocolate Tea. The problem with thisRevolution Green Tea is not the flavor, but rather the boring base green tea used. It is reminiscent of the White Tea Melon from Intelligentsia but lacks the grassy goodness to make this Revolution Teaidentifiable as such. To its credit, when cold, thisflavored tea is exceptional. Sorry for the lukewarmRevolution Tea review but that’s the business around here.Rating: B

: Revolution Tea had to try and match the beast that is Mighty Leaf and release a green tea of the tropical persuasion. Revolution Tropical Green Tea is an interesting blend of a few subtle, fruity flavors combined with their humble green tea. I was impressed by their tea infuser, as its silky presence in my fingertips made me forget that this is a beverage, not a toy. The flavor is indeed tropical, but not to the intensity of the Mighty Leaf Tropical Green Tea. Revolution had a tough act to follow, but they draw applause.Rating: B
