TeaAmigo In Buenos Aires!
In search for the greatest Mate tea, Distinguished Teasan Dax is in Buenos Aires to arm our inbox with Argentinian tea. If you've been browsing through our tea reviews, lately we've been paying homage to mainly American brands of tea. As a true teasan knows, many of the best brews, especially Yerba Mate come from countries abroad, and the TeaAmigos are as true of teasans as they come. Expect some mate from Argentina in upcoming tea reviews. We global!

Curiously I was looking for some tea reviews on the net and found your site right now, when you are in Argentina (where I'm from). You have quite a nice blog and I hope you can find some good teas and mates here. Be careful though, "expert" mate drinkers (unfortunately I'm not one of them) have some strong belief about what kind of mate (not the yerba, but the cup) you use, the temperature of the water, the way of pouring water inside and some other stuff, so you should look for someone who knows his (or her) way around mate drinking.
As for teas... there are a few "gourmet" brands that emerged this last few years, you have the gourmet teas you can buy at the supermarket (like Inti Zen, Té José, Willy's Patagonia, etc) where you could find some locals products blended with the tea (like Rosa Mosqueta, Dulce de Leche, or bagged yerba mate) or some premium tea shops (like Camelia or Tealosophy) where you can taste some premium teas.
Hope you have a good time here, and find some interesting tea and mate flavours.
Cheers
