Mike: Bigelow peppermint tea aspires to be the best mint tea in the tea-drinking world. I unsheathed the package and the soft, mint-laced aroma of frankincense drifted from the bag. Potent. I have never been a fan of peppermint; I think it was because I was traumatized as a child. When I was 6 years old, an intruder entered my house reeking of peppermint. I saw him taking away the family television set. He was aware of my presence and gave me a cold stare on his way out. Since then, I have not trusted the scent of peppermint whatsoever.

Bottom line, this Peppermint Tea from Bigelow is not for those faint of heart. If you are looking for a lightly peppermint flavored tea, this tea is not for you. The one positive thing I can say about it though is that it leaves a very cool, refreshing aftertaste and a smooth finish in the throat. Your tonsils feel like they received a scrubbing. Might be something to that...

Dax: Faithful TeaAmigos readers, you already know what it is: mint tea is by far my favorite type of tea. Call it wack, but mint tea is the illest to me. This tea in particular I’ve never tried before, but my best homey passed it along to me straight from his mother's cupboard. Bigelow seems to make some decadent teas, and this one puts no shame to their game.

Right off the bat you get that minty feeling in your nose, following by a minty coating in your mouth. The finish is smooth, and when you breathe its like Sub-Zero got your tongue. The mint tea flavor isn’t overwhelming like swallowing Listerine, but it is very prevalent by nature. I usually don’t steep my tea for very long, and this probably helped keep the flavor precise. This fresh mint tea and some Andes chocolates would probably put you in monu-mint-ally great mood. Either way, Bigelow Mint Tea is bomb.
