Trader Joe's Mango Black Tea - It Is That Good
Mike: Trader Joe's Mango Black Tea is a fine fruit tea with a tactically sound combination of robust black tea flavoring with the ruggedly constructed mango fruit flavor that exemplifies the taste discernability you have come to cherish from Trader Joe's Teas. Trader Joe's is known for their simian-size selection of quality imported products and you will be knocked off your feet when you discover that this Mango Tea which flies the Trader Joe's banner conforms perfectly to aforementioned reputation.
The tea itself is gentle and intricate stimulating both your left brain and right. Your imagination will be racing head to head with the logician inside us all, your id against your ego, your body against your soul. Try this Trader Joes Tea and discover who will win.
This has been an exercise in marketing/BS writing, but this flavored tea is actually pretty good.

Dax: I don't know what the fudge Mike was talking about, but Trader Joe's Tea is ridiculous. Now usually I never condone spending more money for a name brand product, but Trader Joe's Mango Black Tea was on sale. Mike and I went on a spending spree and splurged on some of the flavored tea goodness, and boy is the emphasis on goodness. I'm a fan of mango, and black tea as well. This concoction takes the cake. The black tea is very well blended with the mango, and you get just enough of both. My mom would be disappointed that I opted for the name brand (sorry mom), but trust me guys, this is worth it. I'm hoping that the rest of Trader Joe's teas hit me over the head like this one did.

Wow, I'm glad you guys finally reviewed this one. Every time I see this at Trader Joe's I consider getting it but I wasn't sure that I'd like it. Needless to say, now I'm sure. I was just reading some dj tutorials and thought "Hey, what's a good flavored black tea that would really hit me over the head?" so I Googled "ridiculous flavored tea black tea hit me over the head." The first 9 results looked like crap but then I saw your review and knew I had struck gold. Looks like I'll be ditching the Tazos!
This tea is ridiculously good!!! It's hard to find a good Mango black tea! I especially love this tea poured over a cup of ice to make ice tea. It makes it light enough for a cooling drink and it keeps all of the flavour! It's a great tea served hot or cold!! Thanks for the tip!!
Have you tried loose leaf black tea with mango preserves? The experience is quite different from a tea bag. Its more vibrant and fresh in flavor. There's one at californiateahouse.com called mango preserves that I think you will like a lot. Plus free shipping.
Oh, I love Trader Joe's tea. I'm an avid fan of the green tea though I haven't really tried the Trader Joe Mango Black Tea. I'm happy this is finally reviewed and now I'm confident to get my own box the moment I visit the grocery next time.

No prob Jessica! If you are at TJ don't you dare leave there without the Mango Black tea or their Jasmine Green Tea. Both of them kill the game!
Since when is Trader Joe's label "name brand"? Your mom should be thrilled that you're buying high-quality tea at a great price. This isn't a splurge at all. Trader Joe's private label products have always been good quality stuff at a great price. It's their generic in-store brand, which I actually find to be better than all name-brand products. I try to shop exclusively at Trader Joe's. Other teas of theirs to try include Jasmine Green Tea and Pomegranate White Tea. I've never been a fan of Chamomile tea but TJ's Chamomile is the ONLY one I've ever liked. Their mint teas are good too. They have straight peppermint and then a blend of one. The Mango Black Tea used to be seasonal (summer only) and marketed as an iced tea. But they now sell it year-round...at least that was the case in California. This tea sells much better toward the mid- to end of summer so it has a tendency to go out-of-stock during peak season. Stock up on it so you don't run out.
