Mike: Dax handed me a Hyson Cherry Lift teabag and told me to get steeping. I was more than happy to. Let’s start with the fragrance. If you’ve ever had cherry jam, or drank cherry juice, you will recognize the aroma immediately. In fact, I have never smelled a fruit tea whose scent was so reminiscent of the actual fruit. That being said, the flavor is overpowering. It kills the actual taste of the tea so you end up drinking black tea flavored cherry juice. Sure, it’s pretty good. Dax: Another banger from the Hyson brand, Cherry Lift tea is power packed way to start the day. Today I arose to a cup of this flavored black tea and got to productivity with the quickness. The blend emits a soft, yet energizing cherry aroma and has that upfront, bold taste that is token to black tea. I don’t really sense a strong cherry presence, and that’s why I probably like it so. Being a pure Ceylon tea packed in Sri Lanka, Hyson Cherry Tea puts the expensive gas in your tank and personally made me want to go skate a triple set at 8 in the morning.
