Allegro Tea Reviews

Allegro Tea Reviews

Allegro Tea was discovered by the Tea Amigos when the Distinguished Teasan Dax was taking a stroll through Whole Foods.  He ran into free tea samples and the Amigos are never against the free 99 so he copped some and brought back a grip for us to review.  Allegro is actually a coffee company that dabbles in tea and Allegro's website does not say much about their origins, so I will just make up a typical tea-story about them.

In 1984, Janet Allegro, an overworked mother of 4 was in her kitchen steeping some bogus brew when she decided that there needs to be a tea good enough for her children.  She spent the next 3 years testing different tea recipes until she rolled out the perfect one and Allegro tea was formed.  Hey Allegro!  Give us some actual info about your teas and we'll put it up.  For now, just enjoy our Allegro Tea Reviews.

Allegro Himalayan Tea

Dax: Now don't get me wrong people, I am a fan of green tea, but sometimes the tea just isn't my cup of said beverage. Allegro Himalayan Green tea just didn't sit too well, even though they boast that their blend holds Chinese and rare Indian Green Darjeeling teas. I did a side by side comparison taste test with an authentic Chinese tea from China....(Read more)

Allegro Estate Ceylon Tea

Dax: Allegro tea serves up their Estate Ceylon varietal that comes up quite normal. I equate the estate as normal, like a 2 bedroom 1 bath. You got your regular amenities such as the included appliances, bad plumbing, odd colored carpet; the basics. Allegro Estate Ceylon tea is just a basic black tea....(Read more)

Allegro Ancient Forest Fusion Tea

Dax: I enjoyed trying Allegro Ancient Forest Fusion, featuring the green, black, and white teas from a mysterious patch of herbal habitat.  Allegro Tea so far has done a good job of leaving an impact on the TeaAmigos, and Allegro Fusion Tea did just as much justice.  At first, this fusion tea seems like a collage of different herbal teas, but later in the steep....(Read more)

Allegro Decaf Green Tea

Dax: Wow, hate illustrated in tea review form. Well, we haven't reviewed that many decaf teas as of recently, and don't fret as there isn't a reason for it.  Sometimes you want to keep everything original.  Taking away the caffeine from a green tea tells me that it underwent some crazy process.  You can't take the bark out of the dog, as you shouldn't.  Nonetheless, Allegro Tea has processed a decaf green tea that they coin is....(Read more)

Allegro Breakfast Blend Tea

Mike: Allegro Breakfast Blend is an organic breakfast tea of pretty average quality. Copped from Whole Foods like the other Allegro teas, this blend is probably the equivalent of English breakfast tea rather than Scottish Breakfast tea, Irish Breakfast tea, or Continental Breakfast tea. That last one does not exist. Anyway, the quality is average and there's a lack of the mesquiteability....(Read more)

Allegro Tropical Yerba Mate Tea

Dax: During a business meeting at Whole Foods, I stumbled upon some generic looking teas by the name of Allegro. I soon found out that they were free samples, so I copped the set for me and the homey to get our tea ratings on. First up is their tropical yerba mate. Tropical is the key word here, because this puppy is as sweet as can be....(Read more)
